For as long as I can remember I have been a Mets fan.  For better or worse, it is all thanks to my mom.  While my sister was outside playing house, pretending to clean and do laundry (HOW is this fun?!?!), my mom was teaching me the game of baseball.  Baseball was the one thing that belonged to just me and mom.  At the time, my attention hogging sister had no interest.  My dad, still, has little interest (but that tends to change when the leaves change color).  I can’t imagine my life without baseball and the Mets.  Thanks mom.  Thanks for all the misery and heartache the Mets have brought me over the years.  I wouldn’t trade it for anything.  I love you!  xoxox

In a few minutes, my sister and I will be bringing bagels to the ‘rents for breakfast.  Then us girls are headed to Shea to spend Mother’s Day with our boys. Ollie you’re due a fantastic game.  Please don’t let us down.  Please.
